Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Aquamarine VPN app and this website. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, resell, rent out, reverse-engineer or modify the app, or attempt to extract its source code, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
2. What the service does
The app routes your internet traffic through an encrypted tunnel to a server you select, replacing your visible IP address. It improves privacy and security on untrusted networks. It is not an anti-virus, and it does not make you untraceable in every situation.
3. Subscriptions
- Weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions are offered. The exact price and period are shown in the app before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription covering the same period.
- Refunds are issued by Apple under the App Store terms. We are not able to process refunds directly, but we will help you with the request.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to break the law, to send spam or malware, to attack or scan networks without authorisation, to infringe intellectual property rights, or to interfere with the operation of our servers. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you are, including any local rules on the use of VPN services. We may suspend access if the service is used in these ways.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the service running continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Servers may be taken offline for maintenance, and connection speed depends on your own network, your distance from the server, and the load on it.
6. Third-party services
The app relies on Apple’s in-app purchase system and on infrastructure supplied by hosting providers. Their own terms apply to their part of the service.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or loss of profit arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
8. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it and cancelling any active subscription. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version is always published on this page with its date. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
