Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 August 2026
This policy explains what Aquamarine VPN (“the app”, “we”) collects, what it does not collect, and how to reach us. It applies to the iOS app and to this website.
1. What we do not collect
We operate a strict no-logs policy for your VPN traffic. We do not record, store or inspect:
- the websites, apps or services you connect to;
- DNS queries made while the VPN is active;
- the content of your traffic;
- connection timestamps tied to an individual user, or bandwidth histories that could be used to reconstruct your activity.
Because this data is never written to disk, we cannot produce it — including in response to a third-party request.
2. Data processed to run the service
To establish a tunnel, a VPN server necessarily handles your device’s IP address for the duration of the session. It is used only for routing and is not stored after the session ends.
3. Technical and diagnostic data
The app collects a limited amount of technical information so we can keep it stable and understand how features are used:
- Device identifiers — a device-level identifier used for app functionality and aggregate analytics.
- Crash and performance data — error reports, stack traces, device model and OS version.
- Product interaction — anonymous events such as screens opened or a connection attempt starting, used in aggregate.
- Purchase history — the status of your subscription, so the app knows whether premium features are unlocked.
This data is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
4. Service providers
We use third-party tools to process the data described above: an analytics and crash-reporting provider, and a subscription-management provider that works with Apple’s in-app purchase system. Each processes data only on our instructions. Payments themselves are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card details.
5. Servers and jurisdictions
VPN servers are hosted with commercial data-centre providers in several countries. Your traffic exits through the server you select. Providers supply infrastructure only and have no access to user records, because no user activity records exist.
6. Contacting support
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We keep that correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the issue and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with information, write to us and we will remove it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to processing, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Send requests to support@aquavpn.online and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. Note that we cannot return browsing data, because we do not hold any.
9. Selling data
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
